The use of various sources of potassium when growing broilers Abstract:The studies show the comparative efficiency of the use of potassium chloride and potassium carbonate to improve the productivity of broilers cross "Smena 8". It was shown that both chloride and potassium carbonate can be inserted into compound feeds for broilers in order to increase productivity and improve feed conversion. The use of potassium chloride in a dose of 1.5 kg / t of feed contributed to the increase in live weight of broilers at 34 days aged by 3.52% while reducing the cost of feed by 1 kg of increase in live weight by 3.1%. Analysis of the content of ash, calcium and phosphorus in the skeleton of broilers did not reveal significant differences between the experimental and control birds. The moisture content in the litter of chickens of all groups was at the level of 60.0–60.7%.

Role of carotinoids in comprehensive enrichment of food eggs Abstract:The article studies the effectiveness of complex enrichment of food eggs with four nutrients. It was found that biofortification of the diet of laying hens of ω-3, selenium, vitamin E and carotenoids leads to a significant increase in the content of these components in eggs. At the same time, the introduction of carotenoids into compound feed allows not only to increase their level in egg yolks, but also to increase the intensity of their color, which helps to improve the presentation and consumer qualities of eggs.

The effect of plant-based feed additive on the broiler meat productivity and quality Abstract:The effect of a feed additive based on essential oils and plant substances on meat productivity and nutritional value of broiler meat is studied. The use of such feed additive contributes to an increase in slaughter mass by 9.0–13.7%, slaughter yield — by 2–5%, as well as an increase in the volume of muscle tissue and an improvement in the poultry meat quality. The best indicators were obtained when a vegetable feed additive was included in amount of 0.015% of the dry matter of compound feed. ГЕНЕТИКА И СЕЛЕКЦИЯ

The using of two gene pol breds of chickens to create a 3-linear eg-meat cross Abstract:The problem of the necessity of the genetic resources of rare and endangered chicken breeds conservation is urgent last years. Now egg industry uses two chicken breed only, that is, Leghorn and Rhoad Island, and broiler industry uses Cornish and Plymouth Rock. However other breeds may be used with the same result for egg receiving with higher energetic value and broiler meat receiving with higher protein content, mainly in connection with farms and households. Such chicken breeds are been onserved in bioresource collections of scientific institutes. The article presents the first research results that make it possible to create a 2-breed and at the same time 3-line autosex egg-meat cross chickens using the pushkinskaya domestic gene pool and leghorn partridge stored in the bioresource collection of the RRIFAGB. The data obtained at the age of 36–37 weeks in F0 made it possible to conclude: in the meat-egg line of the Pushkin breed, the selection of males for reproductive qualities should be tightened, and in the egg and meat line, an increase in egg production should be made.
